I began my journalism career at a young age, hand-delivering the Sunday newspapers to earn spending money for summer boardwalk outings.

One of my neighbors at the end of my route, Mr. Henry, was an avid stock market chart reader, and he would always invite me for a glass of ice-cold lemonade on his porch. He would then eagerly start to explain market data, trends, and the charts themselves, which to a 13-year-old didn’t necessarily mean much, but let me tell you—that sweet homemade lemonade was totally worth it!!🍋
